In many countries worldwide, Safer Internet Day ( or Internet Safety Day) is recognised. This year as usual, Milverton took part in learning what to do in cases such as:
This year, the motto was, ' Create, connect and share respect, a better Internet starts with you!' We thought about what makes us and other people happy that can be found on the Internet. (e. g Funny videos, Youtube and emojis! =))
We learnt how to stay safe online. Here are some examples:
1)Tell a parent if you feel uncomfortable online.
2)Don't tell anyone online your personal information(e.g. phone number or address).
This year 1/2 are having an assembly about people who help us.
They have been practising really good for over one week but they're not going to get a lot of time left I hope it's AMAZING!
As a Power Hour activity there is Art Club for the year 5/6 on a Friday.
The new activity is humorous and also exiting. Here are a few properties of this art:
3.Googly eyes. 👀
We wonder what project will be next week?
By for now!
Children in year 3 and 4 have been doing this work over the week. Their teacher is very proud of it. Some of the work is about poetry, some is about made up animals, and some are examples of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory stories that we have been writing.
This great work is done by:
