This and last week we wrote some descriptions about mythical characters from ancient Greece.
For a warm up we wrote some facts about the creatures' physical appearances. Some of the creatures included: Minotaur, Phoenix and Hydra.
Some facts about the phoenix are:
claw as long as a car, a flying killing machine, it's tail as long as a snake and as slick as a whip, wings as fluffy as a kitten.
This is Jessie's art work from last week. Our focus in art is to show movement in a picture. We were told to draw the other side of someone and remember to shade and use movement marks. The other pictures we could use were: a man in a relay race; a girl star jumping or a street dancer pulling some moves!
This is Amaanya's fact file about the Greek Olympics. She found out lots of interesting information, and presented it very nicely.
