We had an amazing two days earlier this week where the school was invaded by drones. Children used these mini helicopters in a number of coding challenges to develop their computing skills.
Using iPads, children had to set commands to control the drones, flying towards different targets. This really brought coding to life with a clear practical use that was great fun at the same time. This gave us a great memorable reference point for children to help further explain coding in different situations.
The children certainly enjoyed themselves and learnt some new coding skills at the same time. Thank you to Mr Geddes for organising the two days. These days were paid for by the kind donations into the school fund. Thank you!
