In Warwickshire children start primary school the September after their fourth birthday. The law says all children must start school by the beginning of the term after their fifth birthday, although Warwickshire County Council encourages all children to start school in the September after their fourth birthday. The first year of school is called Reception.
If you would like your child to join our school in Reception, you will need to apply for a place for your child in the Autumn prior to your child starting school. Admission forms are available from the Admission Service (see contact details below). All forms must be completed and returned to the Admissions Service by mid January. All applications received by the set date are treated equally.

The priority area for Milverton Primary School is defined as:
Area north of River Leam and east of but excluding Knightcote Drive, Guys Cliffs Road, Guys Cliffe Avenue and south of but excluding Beverley Road to Northumberland Road. Boundary line crosses from junction of Beverley Road and joins Kenilworth Road between Woodcote Road and Binswood Avenue just south of Woodcote Road (excluding College Drive and Onslow Croft). Eastern boundary is formed by and includes Kenilworth Road and The Parade as far as the River Leam.

In reception, these pupils will be split into two single age classes. In all other year groups, there are mixed age classes to accommodate this number.
