Many parents would like to visit Milverton as we are a very popular school. We enjoy showing families around our school and are always enthusiastic to tell people about how our school functions, the exciting things we do and demonstrate the fantastic learning that our children engage in. We hope that after visiting us you will want to join the Milverton Community.
For the past two years having visitors has proven to be very difficult with all of the restrictions that have been in place.
We have decided to once again start to show people around our school but ask that you respectfully follow the expectations we have put in place.
We ask that visitors all wear a face covering at all times during the visit.
We ask that all visitors complete an Covid LFT test on the day, before attending, please bring photo evidence.
Please remain a 1-2 metre distance from children and adults when in the building.
We will now take visits on a Thursday morning only.
You must book in for a visit with the school office, please ensure you leave a phone number with your booking.
The office phone number is 01926 424043
We will allow two groups of four adults. i.e. you will be paired with another set of parents for the tour.
The two available times will be 9.30am and 11.00am.
Please arrive promptly at these times, if you arrive very early you may be asked to wait outside the building.
You will be shown around by a pair of our Year 5 and 6 children, they are very enthusiastic about our school, they will give you an honest child's perspective on the school day, they will answer all questions you have.
We ask that families do not enter the classrooms on their visit but view from the doorway to each room.
To avoid meeting with large groups of adults we will not do a pre-tour meeting with Mr Fisher, a video will replace this.
We will put an introductory video on the website, we ask that you watch this before coming.
There will be a time to ask questions at the end of the tour or you can email Mr Fisher on firstname.lastname@example.org
We reserve the right to cancel meetings should COVID cases rise or visits prove to be problematic in anyway.
