School council
School Council Aims

The Milverton school Council meets to discuss school and local issues.
Our group was formed in a democratic way, children being elected from all classes in the school from Year 1 to Year 6 after persuading classmates they would be the right candidate for the job.
We aim to make changes to;

  • Help Milverton be magnificent
  • Make the school environment healthier for all
  • Make Milverton a better place to learn and a fun place to be
  • To make sure we have the right equipment to be successful
  • To make people happy and smiley when at our school
  • To help raise money for school projects and to help charities
  • To make things fair

Democracy

Democracy is a value important to British people. A democratic system aims to give people a voice in change. We hold an election to choose someone to represent us. We elected our school councilors to represent the voice of all the children at Milverton school.
