 Wrap Around Milverton (WAM)

Milverton Primary School provides wrap around care for both before and after school. Families can book onto this provision through our online booking system, which you will find below. We aim to provide quality activities for the children to enjoy. This will give families the peace of mind that their child is engaged in fun, developmental activities both during and outside the times of the school day.

Parents can book their child into an activity club, where children can enjoy taking part in an activity ran by a specialist coach or a self-directed 'choices club', where children will be able to enjoy self-chosen activities in a relaxed environment. The activities available will be for either Eyfs/Infants (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) or Juniors (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6)

Please contact the Wrap Around Milverton (WAM) club directly on [email protected] and we will be more than happy to answer any of your questions.

Reception Starters (September 2025)

Welcome to Milverton!

If you are interested in your child joining the wraparound from September, please see the tab below 'WAM's online booking system' and please register your child to the system. If you do not know your child's class yet, please select 'waiting on child's class' when selecting their class.

I will be attending the Reception parent meeting on Tuesday 10th June and will give out lots of useful information about the wraparound. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please feel free to drop us an email to [email protected] or call us on 01926 424043. We will be happy to help you and answer any questions you may have.

We are happy to say that, we can guarantee a spot for every reception child in every session slot we have before and after school. Some clubs do get fully booked up, but there is always the option of another club.

We work on a half termly booking process. The timetable for the next half term will go live a week before the end of the current half term (We will send out lots of reminders about 'live day', so don't worry!) You can choose to pay by card payment, child care vouchers or with Tax Free Childcare payments. If you are using childcare vouchers or TFC payments, you need to arrange for payments to be sent over to us in advance so we can upload them to your accounts.

The timetable for Autumn 1 Bookings (2nd September-24th October) will go live on Monday 14th July, the system will go live between 6.30-7.00am. The reason we go live this early is due to the volume of bookings we get and to prevent the system from crashing.

As your children will have a staggered start, they will be able to start WAM from Monday 15th September. The booking system will automatically calculate them starting from the 2nd September. Apologies for this, once you have made your bookings, we will refund you back those two weeks that your child will not attend. You can choose to have a card refund or we can can keep the credit on your accounts for future bookings.

I look forward to meeting you and your children soon,

Kind regards,
Amanda Parks
WAM Manager

How much does it cost?
We have aimed to make our pricing really simple!

The cost for any session is £7.00, this includes the cost of the club, the cost of any breakfast, healthy snacks and the cost of resources used. The three sessions you may sign up for are the;

  • Before school + breakfast                             7.30 - 8.55
  • After school session 1                                   3.20 - 4.30
  • After school session 2 + healthy snack         4.30 - 5.45
  • Late Finish                                                    5.45 - 6.00- free of charge

*Late fee's will apply to those collecting after the allocated times they have paid for. Please see at the bottom of the page*

We ask that, if possible, parents use the start and end times indicated, to help the session run smoothly and allow your child to complete the whole session they are in.

ADHOC Bookings

You may wish to book your child into sessions weekly or even on the same day. The cost for any ad hoc booking is £7.75 per session. You can easily switch the timetable to an ad hoc booking session by clicking the bar at the top, you will then see dates appear on each session and you will be able select the club you wish to book.

Childcare vouchers

There will be an option to use childcare vouchers if these are available for your family to use. We are registered to most childcare companies including the government tax free childcare service. If you will be paying with childcare vouchers or the TFC service the vouchers and payments need to be sent over to us in advance so we can credit your account ready for you to book your sessions for that half term. Please email [email protected] for any account information you may need.

WAM'S Online Booking System
WAM'S ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM

To further improve our WAM Provision we have introduced a new online booking system. This is both to make booking an easier process for parents and a more efficient booking system for WAM.

You will first need to register as a parent, and all of your children at Milverton. This process will take around 3-4 minutes. Once registered you will then have access to our online timetable and will be able to easily book your sessions.

We work on a half termly booking process. You will need to re book your children's sessions every half term. All parents will receive an email notification a week before the end of the current half term to notify you that the timetable for the next half term bookings will be going live. Please see dates below....

We will always work on a first come first served basis.

Each half term dates and live days are as follows;

New Academic Year 2025/26

(Autumn 1 bookings will go live on Monday 14th July)

Autumn 1 2025- 2nd September- 24th October 2025
(Autumn 2 Bookings will go live on Monday 20th October)

Autumn 2 2025- 3rd November- 19th December 2025
(Spring 1 Bookings will go live on Monday 15th December)

Spring 1 2026- 6th January- 13th February 2026
(Spring 2 bookings will go live on Monday 9th February)

Spring 2 2026- 23rd February- 27th March 2026
(Summer 1 bookings will go live on Monday 23rd March)

Summer 1 2026- 13th April- 22nd May 2026
(Summer 2 bookings will go live on Monday 18th May)

Summer 2 2026- 1st June- 16th July 2026
(Autumn 1 2026 bookings will go live on Monday 13th July)

We would like to make our bookings and payment system as simple as possible. If you will be using childcare vouchers, you will need to arrange for your vouchers to be sent over to us in advance before you make any bookings for that half term. As soon as we receive your childcare vouchers we upload them onto your WAM account, which then allows you to book your sessions. We understand that this is a big change to our current system and you may need some support to help achieve this, we are here to help, so if you have any problems please contact us.

If you have any questions or queries about our wrap around care, please email [email protected] and Amanda will be happy to answer any of your questions.
